We are seeking an experienced individual to join our Senior Management Team as **Sales & Marketing Director** to help drive the company forward in our next stage of business development.

The Director of Sales & Marketing will be responsible for all of Iron & Pine’s sales, marketing, PR and communication functions, driving the topline revenue and positioning of the business and brand to local & national markets.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Responsible for day-to-day sales, project proposals & customer liaison
- Defining, updating & executing the Sales & Marketing strategy & targets
- Responsible for the brand awareness, positioning & keeping value of the brand and product at highest level
- Provide monthly financial & performance updates to the company Directors
- Prepare and implement the Sales & Marketing budget and execute programs within limits as outlined in the budget plan
- Develop and oversee a Sales & Marketing team, setting team sales goals & department objectives
- Liaise with customers and maintain good customer satisfaction levels
- Manage the businesses marketing activities
- Effectively communicate with other Senior Managers and company Directors on a day-to-day basis
- Act as a company representative as and where required

**Work Environment**
- this position is office based at our Dalbeattie HQ, with potential for some travel
- this is a full time role, working Monday to Friday

**Knowledge & Skills**
- Previous experience in a similar Sales & Marketing position is required, and being able to illustrate earlier successes in a comparable environment (Essential)
- Experience in a senior leadership role (Essential)
- Working knowledge of CRM systems such as E-Max (preferred)
- Working Knowledge of construction processes (preferred)
- University Degree Qualification in Sales/Marketing/Business (preferred)

- Proven communication skills are necessary for success in this position
- Excellent attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement
- Good presentation skills
- High literacy and numeracy skills

- Good I.T. skills, including a proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel etc
- The ability to work to set KPI's and budgets
- Be a quick thinker and problem solver
- Previous experience in the construction industry
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
