**Workshop Coordinator - Dartford**

To support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join our UKAS accredited Foundations Division. SOCOTEC is the UK’s largest independent construction materials testing division, delivering seven million tests a year to more than 5,000 clients either in our laboratories or on-site. SOCOTEC offers the widest range of testing, inspection and certification services in the UK.

We are looking for a reliable, flexible and committed Workshop Coordinator to join our team. As a member of Foundations, it is key that you are able to work efficiently as part of a team, as well as independently. The majority of your responsibilities will be based around servicing and maintenance.

The job will entail (but is not limited to):

- Managing the workshop
- Logging all servicing and maintenance
- Scheduling preventative maintenance
- Reporting of results
- Playing an active role in maintaining compliance with quality, health and safety requirements

To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

- Experience in an engineering environment
- Hydraulics and electrical is an advantage
- Good practical skills
- Good communication skills
- Good time management
- Able to work on own initiative
- Commercially driven
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred

Essential for the role
- Full UK driving licence
