**Job and Person Specification**

**Job Title: Production operative**

**Overall Job Purpose**:

**Responsible to: Shift Manager**

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
- To ensure the smooth running of the production line
- Reporting equipment faults to maintenance staff
- Operating various packaging machinery
- Packing goods ready for shipment

**Personal Qualities and Qualifications**

**Personal Specifications**:

- The ability to work quickly and methodically
- Work well in a team
- Have excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to concentrate while doing repetitive tasks
- The ability to follow instructions

**Qualifications and Certification**:

- None however previous production or factory experience is a distinct advantage

**Additional Information**

**Working Hours**:Full
- time Hours 6-2pm & 2-10pm rotatiing shift - Mon - Fri

**Location**:TA3

**Remuneration**: £10.33 p/h - £12.24 p/h

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £10.00-£12.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
