Rental Controller

Bennett and Game are currently working with a Truck and Trailer Hire Specialists actively seeking a highly skilled Rental Controller to join their Leighton Buzzard location.

Our client work with a fleet of nearly 3000 trailers and 350 trucks, we have become the one-stop shop for all trailer hire and truck rental requirements within the transport and logistics industry. Due to continued growth they are looking for a self motivatedindividual to join their Leighton Buzzard location.

**Rental ControllerPosition Overview**
- Manage customer bookings from the initial booking inquiry through to delivery
- Ensuring all rental paperwork is completed accurately
- Inputting data into the in house rental system
- Checking trucks and trailers in and out
- Processing PCN's and toll crossings
- Booking vehicles in for servicing, MOT's, and warranty work
- Ensuring insurance and operator's license documents are accurate and present
- Arranging vehicle/trailer deliveries and collections to and from our customers premises.
- Working closely with the rental manager and fleet team to ensure all vehicles are compliant, clean, tidy and ready for rental
- To capture damage on return equipment-notifying customers and sending repair estimates
- Chasing rental order numbers

**Rental ControllerPosition Requirements**
- Vehicle Rental and/or fleet management experience is desirable, but not essential as training will be provided.
- Problem solving, a 'can do' attitude, and the ability to work in a highly busy environment
- Time management and ability to prioritise workloads
- Data management
- Excellent verbal, written, & IT skills

**Rental ControllerPosition Remuneration**
- Salary: £20k - £26k
- Monday - Friday (1 in 4 Saturdays 8:00am - 12pm)
- 8:00am - 17:30
- 20 days holiday per year plus loyalty bonus on 2 year anniversary
