**CNC Programmer/Operator**

**Permanent Role, up to £14p/hr DOE, Days, Mon-Fri, 39hrs per week**

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator to work on behalf of their client, a Precision Engineering and Manufacturing company based in Leeds.

Key requirements include:

- Able to Programme CNCs from scratch, Set and Operate
- Knowledge of either CNC Turning or Milling
- Experience with Siemens and/or Prototrak controls would be beneficial
- Knowledge of machining Stainless and Mild Steel, Aluminium, Brass and Plastics
- Machining 1 off pieces up to batches of 1,000
- Ability to use measuring equipment such as Verniers and Micrometres
- Manual Milling and/or Turning experience would be advantageous

Day to day duties of this role include:

- Programming, setting and operating CNC’s to produce accurate, quality components on time
- Effective and efficient use of all materials and tooling
- Managing your work schedule
- Self inspecting all manufactured components
- Adhering to all Quality and H&S Standards

You will be contracted to 39hrs per week working Monday to Thursday from 8am to 4.30pm with a 3.30pm finish on a Friday. The Pay Rate for the role is experience dependant ranging from £11p/hr for those with little experience up to £14p/hr.
