Responsibilities:

- Control of all goods in from supplier deliveries, checking goods against paperwork and ensure goods are correctly booked in on the computer system and that stocks are updated daily.
- To correctly package and despatch goods to customers and sub-contractors.
- Organising stores racking to ensure goods are safely stored and correctly identified for customer order picking
- Identifying shortages and informing purchasing.
- Checking paperwork for accuracy.
- Assist with implementation of new bar-coding system
- Continually checking and updating stocks in a fast-moving environment
- Ensure the general tidiness of workplace and quality and health and safety standards are always maintained.

**Skills**:

- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks, as packing may involve heavy lifting
- Experience working in a warehouse environment, understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols
- Attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks on packed items
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems or similar software for order processing and inventory tracking
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including picking, packing, and labeling

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour
