**Carpentry Team**:
Ventro are looking for a team of Carpenters (2-4) to work at our sites in Bedford. Preferably a team local to the area.

As a team, you will work across various sites completing fire door installations and maintenance, this is on a self-employed/sub-contractor basis.

We require at least 2x operatives to start works in December.

All door installs are on a piece-rate basis.

If you are willing to travel, Ventro have on-going work all over the country.

**CSCS Card, DBS Check, Driving License and Fire Door Installation experience is essential.**

**Role Responsibilities**:

- Installation of new fire doors
- Maintenance of existing fire doors
- Measurement of doors/frames
- Appropriate use of all materials, tools and resources
- Ensure quality and standards of work are high
- Ensure health and safety regulations are met as well as best practice standards
- Undertaking any training necessary for the role
- Ensure all work is evidenced through our HILTI app

**Essential Requirements**:

- Driving License and access to own vehicle (ideally a van large enough to transport doors)
- Basic DBS Check
- Carpentry NVQ (or relevant qualification/experience)
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Previous carpentry experience; specifically fitting fire doors
- Valid CSCS card
- Willingness to travel
- Access to smartphone in order to update the HILTI app
- Be Asbestos-Aware, and preferably first aid
- Provide own battery-powered tools
- The applicant’s company must hold Public Liability Insurance
- Must be eligible to live and work in the UK
- Have good full past work references / portfolio
