School Cleaner

**NEEDS ENHANCED DBS**

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general cleaning duties in commercial buildings, including offices, restrooms, and common areas
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
- Clean windows and glass surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, and soap
- Follow cleaning procedures and guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary environment
- Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in commercial cleaning preferred but not required
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if necessary
- Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and coworkers

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract

Pay: £14.45-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Commercial cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
- cleaning: 1 year (required)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Enhanced DBS (required)
