Warehouse/flt Driver

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative with good experience of driving FLT counterbalance trucks. Ideally you should have experience working in a food production environment.

This is a full time, temp to perm role. Monday to Friday 7am - 4pm. Starting Pay is £11 an hour and this will rise after 12 weeks and you move to a permanent contract.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely and efficiently load, unload, and transport products to and from the warehouse using an FLT Counterbalance truck.
- Verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments through paperwork and MS Excel report sheets.
- General warehouse duties including stacking and wrapping pallets, organising stock, collecting orders together ready for shipment and keeping the warehouse areas tidy.
- Maintain inventory control by organizing and arranging products in the warehouse
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move and stack products
- Perform regular inspections of vehicles and report any maintenance or repair needs
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment

**Skills**:

- Valid FLT licence (Inc In House) as well as a minimum of 2 years experience.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet trucks.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate inventory management and PC lilterate.
- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and delivery drivers.

**Salary**: From £11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Eccles, Greater Manchester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 3 years (required)
- FLT: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- FLT Counterbalance license (required)
