**Salary**: £43,500 depending on experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Developing and managing the commercial relationship with the customer community
- Reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and finalising contracts and commercial agreements and providing support with complex contracts
- Being responsive to the needs and wants of the customer by researching and understanding their requirements
- Mentoring and developing junior members of the team
- You’ll also have people manager responsibilities in this role

**Your skills and experiences**:

- Educated to Degree level and/or proven relevant commercial experience
- Experience of negotiating contracts
- Demonstrable client/customer relationship management

**The Submarine’s Commercial team**:
The Commercial team are currently working on exciting Multi Million Pound Submarine programmes, projects and BID's. They work across the business supporting and partnering with a wide range of stakeholders across the BAE Submarine network. These consist of multi-function teams, such as Project management, Engineering, Technical specialists, and Supply Chain. Externally, the teamwork with customers such as the MOD.

Career Development is fully supported within the team, with the opportunity to move up to management level along with skillset development through further education and recognised training to facilitate lateral moves within the wider BAE business.
