**About the Role**:
We have an exciting opportunity for a EHCP Coordinator to join our Education team, supporting the HITZ provision as part of our Premiership Partnership. This role requires remote work but you must be based in the UK and able to attend site visits across the UK for training and meetings when required.

The EHCP Coordinator will work with a wide variety of professionals to include educational settings, and outside professional agencies to promote improved outcomes for children and young people and their families through the development and review of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP).

The EHCP Coordinator will be responsible for:

- EHCP Management - Coordinate the procedures to support young people with Education, Health, and Care (EHC) needs assessments, annual reviews of EHC Plans and other EHC statutory casework, delivering quality on time.
- Main Contact - You will be the primary point of contact for parents, carers, and young people on your caseload, liaising with all professionals involved in supporting their needs.
- Caseload Management - Manage a caseload of young people with an EHC Plan or undergoing EHC needs assessment, reviewing at procedure points within the funding contract year.
- Management of Funding - Monitoring spends of any allocated Local Authority funding, by way of auditing EHCP funding drawn down, against each young persons need.

Supported by partners CVC Foundation and Wooden Spoon, HITZ uses rugby’s core values of teamwork, respect, enjoyment, discipline and sportsmanship to get young people not in education, employment or training (NEET) back into education, training, apprenticeships and/or employment, and is delivered nationally via 6 Premiership Rugby’s 13 shareholder clubs.

**Safeguarding responsibilities**
- This role will involve daily contact with learners, and you will be engaging in regulated activity relevant to children and/or vulnerable adults.
- All staff and volunteers have a responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people, and/or vulnerable adults for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.

**About You**:
To be successful in the EHCP Coordinator role you will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

- Knowledge of the SEND code of practice and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) review procedures.
- Ability and confidence to communicate with a wide variety of individuals.
- Ability and confidence to chair professional/parent meetings.
- Excellent understanding of the nature and importance of partnership working and managing multiple stakeholders.
- Experience of delivering support to young people and adults with a range of barriers to their success.

You will also have the following qualifications:

- Advice and Guidance Level 4 and/or a relevant learning support qualification (essential).
- Further relevant professional qualifications, preferably in SEN, are highly desirable (desirable).
