**About the role**

You’ll be responsible for ensuring the Food & Beverage outlet/s run efficiently and that customers are satisfied with the quality of food, drink and service they receive. You’ll be a great leader, effectively supporting and leading the team, be polite, courteous and professional. The Old Ship is Brighton’s most historic hotel, with a history stretching back as far as the 16th century, seamlessly combining modern design with the building’s original period features. Its iconic seafront location lends itself to stunning panoramic sea views, alongside excellent accessibility to local attractions and unique event facilities that make the hotel a perfect choice for business, pleasure or romance.

The Old Ship Hotel, standing on Brighton’s seafront, has a history stretching back as far as the 16th century. Of course in the early days it was nothing like the size of the present-day premises - it was just a simple structure in Ship Street called the Ship Tavern. In 1650 it was re-named the Old Ship for the very good reason that the New Ship was built opposite.
