Refuse Loader

Acorn are looking to recruit Refuse Loaders, required for the local council located in Newton Abbot. You will be required to work on a day-to-day basis, collecting bins within the local districts.
Please note: this is a physically demanding job where you will be handling unsanitary waste and standing up all day, in all weathers.
**Duties**:

- Bin collections
- Recycling
- Street sweep
- Parish sweep
Pay:

- £9.50 per hour
- £9.60 per hour after 12 months
- Overtime X 1.5 (over 37 hours)
Hours:

- Monday to Friday - 6:15am start until finish each day (normally a 7.5 hour working day)
- Finish times can vary and you will have bank holidays off
- Occasional Saturdays
- Rare Sunday work
