We are excited to be working on an new opportunity for a Registered Home Manager to join a growing team.
**Job Role**
As the Registered Manager you will be required to effectively demonstrate a detailed professional knowledge of the day to day running of the home and have excellent communication skills with the staff and children living in the home. The Registered Managerwill also need to perform functions as the manager, whilst maintaining a 'hands on' approach as well as being able to participate in an 'on call' rota system.
The duties and responsibilities also included, but are not limited to:

- Reviewing the statutory requirements and monitoring the residential staff within the home to ensure that all the systems are following these requirements and that any new requirements are being implemented
- Promoting the home to external officers, whilst trying to maintain occupancy levels and developing a good relationship with referring agencies
- Meeting budgeting requirement through efficient methods and maintaining commercial awareness.
- Over 2 years' experience in a relevant managerial role
- Over 2 years' experience of working in a children's residential home
- NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care
- Have, or be working towards a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management or equivalent
- Have or be working towards the Registered Manager's Award
- Experience of working with and managing challenging behaviour
- Hold a valid full UK driving licence
- Have excellent communication skills
- Good working knowledge of the relevant Children Acts and the relevant health and safety legislations, including COSHH.
