**The role**
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join us in the position of Clinical Skills Trainer.
The role will be based across our Baycroft care home portfolio, so regular travel around all the Baycroft sites across the South East and South Midlands region will be required. In partnership with the Clinical Governance Lead your responsibilities will include:

- Lead, create and update all clinical training material and deliver this training across our Baycroft services.
- Review and maintain all Nurse and Senior Carer’s competency framework and provide support for revalidation.
- Act as a competency assessor for all Core clinical activity and support General Managers to embed new knowledge following training across their staff teams.
- Identify any shortfalls or training needs.

**What you will need to succeed**
- RGN qualified with registration.
- Have a car and valid licence (expenses will be paid from your nearest Baycroft or One Housing service).
- Proven experience in Training and Mentorship within a care home, ideally with an award in Education and Training.
- Well versed in creating high quality clinical teaching materials with great presentation.
- Able to identify improvement measures with the ability to assist staff to deliver change.
- Able to work as part of a team to develop solutions to complex problems, coming to reasoned decisions with comprehensive recommendations
- Highly organised and able to work to conflicting and challenging deadlines, supported by an ability to plan and prioritise resource
- Knowledge of the legislative and regulatory framework for CQC registered services and issues facing the care sector would be desirable.
- Excellent planning, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of blended working approaches.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and information and communicate it clearly
- Excellent IT skills in MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint presentation.

**Salary: £40,000**
Hours: 37.5 per week
