Farm Foreman/Tractor Driver

We are looking to recruit an experienced and conscientous individual to work alongside the owner carrying out tractor work, along with stock work. The role will centre around supporting the owner with staff management, fieldwork (all operations for dairy and arable carried out in-house), relief feeding and general stock work with occasional relief milking as required.

This is a very varied and flexible role which would suit someone with a real passion for livestock, but who also likes the variation with skilled tractor work. Experience and an interest in both are essential as is a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

We seek someone to progress within the industry; training can be given where required, although a telehandler certificate is critical.

North Bowood Farm sits just north of Bridport in West Dorset. It is a 2000 acre family-run dairy, arable, beef & sheep farm with a 250 cow herd with followers, TMR fed averaging 10,000L and all year round calving.

The farm has a modern, well-maintained machinery fleet comprising of mainly New Holland tractors, self-propelled sprayer, forage harvester and combine.
