**Transport and Energy Project Officer**:

This role is part of several UK Research & Innovation funded research projects which are working to accelerate the decarbonisation of transport, build new collaborations which strengthen the field of research and effectively communicate state of art findings with policy makers and practitioners.

Based in the Institute for Transport Studies, you will take on the role of Transport and Energy Project Officer to provide professional support to Professor Jillian Anable and a wider team of researchers across a number of projects. The projects include CREDS (_Centre for Research on Energy Demand Solutions_), UKERC (UK Energy Resarch Centre) and CARS (Connecting Administrative ehicle data for Research on Sustainable Transport). Each of these projects work with a number of academic and non-academic partners across the UK to develop state of art findings on issues related to transport, mobility, energy and decarbonisation. There is close collaboration with policy, non-governmental organisations and industry.

Your role will involve communicating research findings to a wide range of stakeholders across a range of media; collaborating with academics to design and deliver engaging events (to be delivered both online and face-to-face); managing the project budgets and project milestones; preparing progress reports related to impact and EDI; and providing administrative and logístical support to the projects.

You will have excellent time management and communication skills with the ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders, and an ability to work independently, managing your own workload to meet competing deadlines.
