I have a fantastic new opportunity to work within, a small business of about 45 people, a commercial company that helps people within the community. They have been operating for about 20 years and are continuing to grow and succeed. They are just movinginto a new refurbished office with break out areas, quite zones, standing desk ect so the office is contemporary.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 9-5.30 with an hour for lunch. They operate on a hybrid model 3 days in the office and 2 days at home and provide everyone with a £50 monthly travel allowance to cover parking/transport costs.

Main Purpose of the job is to enable the timely and efficient provision of management and financial accounting services to the company.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Own the stock management and forecast processes, working with other functions to ensure that the right products are always available for customers to buy on our software platform;
- Preparation of Customer financial reports, including the development to meet new customer reporting requirements;
- To support in the development of new reporting on Power BI through development of business knowledge and identifying where financial insights can add value;
- Work with Business Development to effectively manage slow moving client balances;
- Manage and deal with queries from suppliers, customers and colleagues on a timely basis.
- Manage the day to day cash position, ensuring that there are always sufficient funds available to meet payment obligations;
- Control the value of deposit balances held at key suppliers, ensuring that cashflow is managed tightly while also providing sufficient scope for sales order fluctuations;
- Control master data for Suppliers and Customers in the accounting system,
- Support the production of management accounts and investigation of any variances.
- Preparation of audit working papers as appropriate in readiness for audit, and liaising with auditors on site.
- Support the production of the annual budget, and the periodic forecasting exercises which take place during the year.
