**About the role**

Join Cornwall Housing for the career, but stay for the community, with this fantastic opportunity to become an RSAP Officer This role provides a generic housing management service to tenants that live within RSAP properties (RSAP properties are non-secure, temporary accommodation for individuals or couples who are either rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping).

In this role, you will handle complex case loads, and all aspects of service, including allocations, liaison with support workers, all enforcement issues, multi-agency work, and providing a comprehensive service to meet the client groups' needs.

Some of the key responsibilities are:

- To manage the designated RSAP properties, meeting performance targets and tenant aspirations
- Provide the highest level of customer service at all times, seek to resolve issues at the first point of contact, deal with enquiries effectively and communicate in an open and transparent manner
- Ensure that our customers are at the heart of what we do, we listen and act on what we are being told through bespoke improvement plans in consultation with customers and key stakeholders
- To be the ambassador for Cornwall Housing within our communities, building relationships with key stakeholders

**About you**

We are looking for you to bring:

- ‘A’ Level or NVQ3 level or with equivalent experience
- Sufficient experience of working in a housing related field or equivalent, with a working knowledge of landlord and tenant law, housing and welfare benefit legislation and housing allocations and a working knowledge of Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003
- Substantial experience in managing the tenancy from commencement ensuring that landlord responsibilities are fully met
- Experience of partnership working with internal and external agencies. Demonstrates the ability to engage in debate during multi-agency meetings
