We are a successful business with 125 years of experience of serving local communities and offering financial support to people in times of need across the UK. To support our recent rapid growth, we are looking for a Trainer to join us.

**Job Purpose**:
The Trainer will proactively support the Liverpool Support Centre in its strategy to build its capabilities within the teams to perform their roles effectively. The primary activity is the training delivery and ongoing coaching of the regulatory requirementsand technical skills for the Liverpool Support Centre team and wider Operations team. They will be responsible for the full training cycle from analysis, design, delivery, on-going coaching and feedback and evaluation as well as ad-hoc projects to supportthe broader team, supported by the Training Manager.

**Key Responsibilities**:**
- Responsible for developing structured training plans and learning outcomes for face to face, online and blended learning solutions covering regulatory requirements and business needs.
- Proactively plan, organise, manage and deliver blended training sessions to colleagues on all related platforms.
- Identify and feedback learning opportunities and skill gaps based on evaluations and feedback
- Work alongside the Training manager and TAD Manager to deliver development programmes
- Coach, mentor and support other team members to ensure high standards are maintained and delivery risks are mitigated
- Monitor and report any trends and areas of high risk/non-compliance
- Responsible for maintaining content available to learners (e.g. eLearning how to guides, training videos), working with Subject Matter Experts to ensure they are accurate
- Work with third party providers to access relevant learning materials when required
- Supporting training for the wider business when required.

**Skills and Experience**:

- To have extensive experience within a regulated industry (ideally FCA)
- Experience translating technical know-how into easy-to-understand content
- Experience of communication, facilitation, coaching and presenting for groups
- Responsive to change, comfortable working in an environment of rapid transformation, and an advocate for change whilst maintaining personal resilience
- Able to work collaboratively with others to achieve outcomes
- Has experience working with Microsoft Office suite, LMS systems, and online virtual platforms.

- Has proven skills in effectively developing people through coaching, mentoring, giving feedback and writing personal development plans
- Good understanding of adult learning theories and inclusive learning techniques
- Previously designed and delivered training interventions, including some experience working with digital learning solutions.
