The shift pattern for this position is Monday to Friday, 830am - 430pm (negotiable)
This post is full-time at 37.5hrs per week with flexibility in working hours.
The base will primarily be at the delightful hospital in Vale of Leven. There is an expectation that, on rare occasions, cover may be required at either of the other two Clyde sites during unplanned absence (Royal Alexandra Hospital and Inverclyde Royal Hospital).
The role will deliver the performing and reporting of 6 sessions of Echocardiography. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting the day to day supervision of the small team and ensuring safe delivery of the service. There will be the expectation to assist in ETT’s (2 sessions) and pacemaker follow-up clinics (1 session) when necessary (staff absence).
Minimum of 3 years as a Band 6 and competency in performing a broad range of cardiac procedures. Specialist knowledge in Echocardiography.
**Essential**
Clinical Physiology Degree or equivalent (HBTEC/HNC & Specialist Courses)
BSE/EACVI accreditation / CPD in Echocardiography
**Desirable**
Leadership skills
CPD in Cardiac Devices
