Job overview

Technical cardiology at NUH are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team of cardiac physiologists, assistant technical officers, cardiac support officers and admin assistants. We provide non invasive diagnostic tests to a range of patients from infants on the neonatal unit to older people on our HCOP wards. We are looking for someone who shares our passion for providing compassionate care and high quality service for our patients.

Main duties of the job

A cardiology assistant supports the smooth running of all areas of our service. Duties include:
Welcoming and checking in patients attending the department

Assisting physiologists with echocardiography, chaperoning and supporting patients to dress and undress when required

Basic patient assessments (blood pressure and ECG, full training will be given)

Assisting our busy admin team

Essential criteria
- Must be literate and numerate to GCSE level

- Evidence of post 16 education in a healthcare or caring field.

**Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
