About the company:
This multidiscipline Property and Construction Consultancy are looking for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join their Solihull office. With over 70 years of experience, 850 employees and 12 offices across the UK, this company delivers expertise in arange of sectors including Defence & Security and Arts, Culture & Heritage. They have worked on huge projects in the UK, such as the RAF Museum in Hendon and the Queen Elizabeth School in Bristol, as well as big projects worldwide.
As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer at their Solihull office, you will be part of a diverse team working together to bring innovative solutions for clients within Building Services. They are committed to reducing their environmental impact by partneringwith local businesses and resources.
Every day, you will take on a variety of responsibilities including using CAD and BIM to design compliant systems solutions, undertake design calculations, and liaise with other professionals and clients. You will benefit from on-the-job learning experienceswhilst working on prestigious projects from large industrial and commercial schemes with contract values over £30 million to smaller schemes.
You will be exposed to many sectors and many cultures working with interesting clients including large retail companies, local authorities, Schools/Universities, contractors, and developers. What they are looking for in the successful Intermediate Mechanical Engineer:

- Mechanical or Architectural Engineering or Building Services Design degree, preferably masters level.
- Experience of design solutions from conception through to completion including calculations, drawings, specifications, etc.
- Proficient in Revit and IES.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
- High quality oral and written communications.
- The ability to mix well within a close knit, sociable team and someone who is not afraid to ask questions.
