Clinical Practice Educator

**Main duties of the job**:
We are looking to recruit a motivated and committed individual with extensive renal experience and a keen interest in quality improvement and implementing change. Someone who has leadership skills and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team, working closely with the senior nursing team to support teaching and development.
The role is highly clinical in nature and the successful applicant will be expected to work alongside the nursing team taking a cohort of patients to meet services needs if needed while continuing to support the team and demonstrating a hands-on approach to work and patient care delivery.
Supporting both pre and post registration student nurses, as well as new qualified and unqualified staff joining the service, you should be a Registered Nurse with post registration experience in Haemodialysis, Peritoneal Dialysis and renal nursing, possess a recognised renal course and a recognised mentorship qualification.
Previous teaching experience and leadership skills are essential, along with excellent communication skills and the enthusiasm for the development of others.
