We currently are seeking a great **Taxi Hire Specialist **to join our fast-growing team based in Chester paying up to £22k. You will be joining an upbeat, fun, work hard - play hard culture in a vibrant and positive office environment and will receive fantastic training in the role.

The successful **Taxi Hire Specialist **will have excellent communication skills, good time management, and be able to build a rapport with customers. In return for this, the **Taxi Hire Specialist **will receive some great benefits including:

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage own case-load of requests for hires and work with the Hire team and Branch team to ensure hires are worked timely and effectively at the least cost to the business.
- Arrange the delivery of replacement hire vehicles to clients.
- Sourcing vehicles from alternative suppliers to meet client’s needs as and when required.
- Constantly updating clients on the progress of their hire, Service Level Agreement call times to be adhered to and all clients contacted within the agreed timeframe.
- Liaising with Local Authorities to arrange plating of taxis to meet the local authority’s regulations, all regulations and vehicle specifications to be checked and confirmed as correct.
- Liaising effectively with the Claims department regarding the current status of the clients hire and arranging suitable vehicles.
- Updating the clients file with relevant information using the bespoke Company system.
- Maximising on hire days and charging rates by ensuring the hire commences as requested and the authorised vehicle group booked is correct.
- Co-ordinating the deliveries and collections of vehicles to ensure the least cost to the business and the best use of resource.
- Keeping all relevant paperwork for vehicle and licensing files up to date with accuracy.
- Ensuring that all hire documentation is correct, and the receipt of documents is managed within the correct timeframe
- To ensure Service Level Agreements are issued to suppliers and they are adhered to.

**Skills desired**:

- Knowledge of the Proximo Fleet and vehicles makes and models (desired)
- Knowledge of the hire business

Knowledge of the Local Authority regulations (desired)
