**JOB PURPOSE**:
As the Service Planner / Coordinator for our North East region based at our regional office in Barnsley - you will be working for a business who are leaders in their field, where creating and maintaining amazing relationships with their customers is the number one priority We are an incredibly stable, expanding business with a great team spirit within the business where every employee makes a difference and is valued.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Provide high quality service to customers and help resolve issues relating to repairs and replacement equipment.
- Provide high quality service to customers in relation to managing maintenance contracts and ensure effective delivery.
- Be the first point of contact for customers in order to identify the specific nature of query / enquiry from various sources and take appropriate action.
- Once the customer enquiry has been established, develop appropriate records in the service system (currently JobLogic)
- Liaise directly with customers and Ascot engineers to plan and coordinate all reactive, repair, installation and planned maintenance works
- Work closely with the Service Manager and Sales Surveyors to ensure the relevant admin support is coordinated in relation to quotations, order processing, parts, material and equipment procurement, planning engineer resource, collating service job sheet records, submitting customer invoices and assisting in efficient cash collection process (where required)
- Take an active role in the implementation of the Company’s Health and Safety Policy.
- Build, develop and sustain mutually beneficial working relationships with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.

**PERSONAL SPECIFICATION**:
**QUALIFICATION / SKILLS**:

- General Education or equivalent experience
- Evidence of delivering a first-class customer service - Preferable
- Experience in handling incoming calls from a range of people and dealing with these in a polite and professional manner
- Intermediate to Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Word and Excel), experience of CRM system - Preferable

**KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**:

- Broad sound knowledge of information and communication technologies including data management and CRM or ERP systems
- Engineering background and technical knowledge of industrial doors - Preferable
- Ability to remain calm, work effectively under pressure and work as part of a team
- Ability to deal with following up quotes in a professional manner
- Customer service and relationship skills
