**Design Engineer (Mechanical / Automotive)**

**£35,000 - £40,000 + Bonuses + Holiday + Training + Flexible Hours**

Are you a Design Engineer looking to progress into a specialist field where you can work on international projects and become part of a global team?

Do you have Automotive experience and want to work for a company that offers extensive training, flexible hours and excellent career progression?

In this role you will be responsible for the development and design of MOD vehicles, helping create innovative mechanical designs as part of a cohesive and creative team.

The company work closely with global defences to create leading engineering solutions and are growing exponentially every year. Providing complete life cycle engineering services, this company are known for their range of renowned defence vehicles, and innovativeand cost reducing designs.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer looking to upskill their abilities and move into the niche field of defence automotives.

**THE ROLE**:

- Produce innovative mechanical designs and components
- Design and create models using 3D CAD
- Assess prototypes and strength of components
- Prepare for and attend design reviews
- In-house training available

**THE PERSON**:

- HNC or NVQ level 4 qualified
- Mechanical Design experience
