Community Youth Worker

Involve Voluntary Action in Mid Devon, on behalf of partners in the Cullompton Youth Development Partnership is recruiting **two community youth workers **to provide locally based, locally run, sustainable and collaborative youth provision and local engagement in Cullompton with activities being provided at least twice a week from The John Tallack Centre (JTC)

The roles will work with young people aged 12-19 to facilitate their personal, social and educational development and to support young people, during their period of transition from dependence to independence by enabling them to gain a voice and influence their local community and wider society.

You will contribute to the design and delivery of personal & social-educational programmes and projects that inspire young people, capture their interests and meet their needs. This will include seeking funding for delivery.

You will have at least level 2 in Youth Work and experience of working with young people in open access and/or targeted settings. You will be able to demonstrate programmes you have planned and delivered that have inspired and challenged young people.

Interviews will be held on 31st January or 1st February.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10-20 per week

**Salary**: £12.94-£14.38 per hour
