CNC Machine Operator

We are looking for a **CNC operator/machinist/setter **to join us at our workshop in Annan.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Program, set and operate CNC turning/milling machines producing precision components.
- Make jigs and fixtures as required to aid in machining.
- Setting up tools & machines for production.
- Carry out machining of components.
- Work efficiently and accurately with minimum supervision.
- Willingness to assist in other workshop and fabrication duties as and when required.

**Essential skills and attributes**:

- Time served (Or equivalent experience) in CNC Milling and/or turning.
- Must be able to read and understand technical drawings.
- Experienced in the machining of various materials including stainless steel, mild steel, phosphor bronze, PTFE, various plastics, and other materials.
- Ability to be flexible in hours of work and a positive "can do" enthusiastic attitude.

**Salary depending on experience.**

Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: £10.00-£15.00 per hour

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
