Evedale Care Home is looking to recruit Laundry Assistants with a minimum of 2 years' experience to join our team. Everdale Care Home is located in the Stoke/Binley area of Coventry with close proximity to several bus routes. We are a 64 bedded Nursing Home offering Nursing Care to adults with Nursing needs.

**Job Specific Duties: Laundry**

**Specific Duties Include**:

- Helps to maintain a safe, healthy and pleasant environment.
- Ensures the linen and residents clothes are kept clean and in a good state of repair at all times.
- Ensure that residents clothes are labelled with correct ID
- Maintain linen stores in a clean and organised manner
- Carries out laundry duties in accordance with the homes requirements.
- Reports any defects faults or maintenance requirements to laundry equipment.
- Uses and stores laundry products in accordance with COSHH regulations.
- Ensures adequate laundry supplies are available at all times.

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- Operation of laundry equipment.
- COSHH / Health and Safety.

**Salary**: £11.50 per hour
