BACKGROUND

Established in 1992, Applegreen is a major fuel and food forecourt retailer with operations in the Republic of Ireland, the United Kingdom and the USA. The Group is pursuing a growth strategy focused on acquiring and developing new sites in each of the three markets in which it operates.

- A strong food and beverage focus aiming to offer premium products and service to the customer.

Applegreen has a number of strategic partnerships with international brands including Burger King, Subway, Costa Coffee, Greggs, Lavazza, Chopstix, Freshii and 7-Eleven. The business also has its own food offer through the Bakewell café brand.

As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to be part of the fastest growing forecourt retailer across the ROI, UK and USA.

POSITION PURPOSE
- Serve customers politely and efficiently
- Prepare food products to the correct specifications & standards
- Keep Subway area clean and safe, and equipment are clean & tidy

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To deliver the highest levels of customer service in line with brand standards
- To provide tailored customer service and drive high NPS scores
- To produce and serve all products to brand standards and recipes
- To produce and present all food to brand standards
- Maintain stock levels/availability by replenishing display /fridges within company guidelines/planograms, rotating stock to ensure compliance with company health & safety guidelines
- To maintain standards of Health, Safety and cleanliness
- To sell and demonstrate product knowledge by advising the customer/answering queries and suggesting products to the customer as part of the ordering process. Act on initiative to optimise sales to the customer
- To operate the till in line with brand till operation and cash handling procedures
- To maintain customer areas to company standards
- To attend work at designated shifts (time and attendance)
- To attend team meetings as required
- To complete all tasks required by the daily cleaning schedule
- And any other duties as directed by the Subway or Site Manager
