Web Accessibility Specialist - Ref: RT02924

Join our talented and dynamic Digital Team and help us enhance user engagement and accessibility for all. We have a dynamic role in the growing field of web and digital compliance and accessibility.

As a Web/Digital Accessibility Specialist, we expect you to:

- stay updated with trends and best practices to ensure compliance and accessibility improvement
- coach and mentor colleagues across all services to help improve their accessibility skills, using a variety of methods and providing training materials and learning content
- conduct and manage accessibility audits and assessments, using industry-standard testing software and reporting software
- collaborate with colleagues, designers, developers, and suppliers to address accessibility issues and provide training
- communicate complex compliance results and technical information clearly to non-technical audiences
- internally promote accessibility policies and be a strong user advocate

**Requirements**:

- a portfolio/case studies to demonstrate knowledge of accessibility principles and guidelines
- experience in conducting accessibility audits and assessments with proven skills in report writing and the ability to recommend improvements
- knowledge of assistive technologies used by people with disabilities, and how they interact with digital products
- experience in developing and managing accessibility guidelines and standards
- strong communication and collaboration skills
