Line management responsibilities will be divided across the Head of Department/Deputy Heads of Department with a view to ensuring an appropriate number of direct reports with relevant alignment.
A bespoke and comprehensive programme of development and support will be available for successful appointees. The programme will be framed in the context of the University’s strategic plan, BU2025.
**You will be qualified to Doctorate level or equivalent in a relevant field. You will have demonstrated global research leadership, and you will be committed to a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement.**
**This position does not meet the eligibility requirements for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Route within the UK Visa and Immigration service’s **Points Based System**. Therefore, BU will not be able to sponsor individuals who require permission to work to carry out this position.**
**This position is offered on a fixed-term basis until 31 July 2024 to provide a secondment or career development opportunity.**
