Key responsibilities

Must have experience of working within a hands on role and skilled across a wide variety of practical tasks.
- **Manual Labour**:Performing manual labour tasks with proficiency, including lifting, carrying, digging, and operating hand tools, while adapting to outdoor environments and varying weather conditions.
- **Assistance with Projects**: Assist skilled tradespeople or contractors with construction, renovation, or repair projects within the Park. Performing tasks such as building walls, making planters and carrying materials.
- **Equipment Maintenance**: Assist with the cleaning, storage, and basic maintenance of tools, equipment, and machinery used in the Park, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- **Communication**: Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members to report progress, request assistance or resources, and coordinate tasks.

Skills required
- **Teamwork**: Willingness to work collaboratively with other park staff and follow instructions from supervisors to accomplish tasks efficiently and effectively.
- **Practical Skills**:Possesses practical skills and resourcefulness to effectively tackle various tasks and adapt to different situations. Capable of efficiently using tools and equipment to complete assigned duties with precision and effectiveness.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to pay attention to detail when performing tasks such as cleaning, landscaping, or repairing park amenities, ensuring work is completed to high standards.
- **Reliability**: Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to fulfilling responsibilities to the best of your ability.
- **Adaptability**: Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and work assignments as needed, with a willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required.
- **Safety Awareness**: Awareness of basic safety practices and procedures to minimise the risk of accidents or injuries while performing manual labour tasks.
