**Lettings Coordinator**
We are seeking to appoint a professional Lettings Coordinator for the ongoing lettings of the school site and its facilities.
St Andrew’s team places value on the importance of maintaining a positive and welcoming facility. The Lettings Coordinator will be responsible for managing the bookings and reception for our school’s facilities after regular school hours.
The Lettings Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, providing excellent customer service to both booking clients and guests utilising our facilities. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a customer-centric approach.
Additional, regular activities the Lettings Coordinator would undertake include, but are not limited to:
To support the Premises Manager in maintaining the security, safety, cleanliness, porterage and upkeep of the school buildings, grounds and facilities.
To set up and provide practical support in arrangements for the evening’s lettings.
Ensure that all working practices reflect the Christian ethos and values of the school.
Enthusiastic about providing exceptional customer service and support
Able to work well within a team as well as being comfortable working independently
Committed to excellence; organised, methodical, and willing to do what is necessary to get the job done.
Equally comfortable in both an office environment and outside in all weathers welcoming clients and guests.
This post would suit someone wishing to work part time after retirement or around their studies. There is no home working option available for this post.

Lettings Coordination
- Handle inquiries and bookings for school facilities after regular school hours, including classrooms, sports facilities, and other spaces.
- Maintain an organised booking system, ensuring accurate scheduling and allocation of resources.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to confirm availability and facilitate special requests or requirements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients interested in renting school facilities.
- Provide information on available spaces, pricing, and booking procedures, ensuring clarity and transparency throughout the process.
- Welcome clients and guests upon their arrival, providing them with necessary information and assistance.
- Ensure guests are directed to the appropriate facilities and are familiarised with relevant safety and security protocols.
- Address any inquiries or concerns from guests promptly and courteously, striving to exceed their expectations.
- Prepare information for the Finance Officer to issue invoices and process payments for bookings in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial policies.
- To help grow the lettings business as directed by the School Business Manager.
Site Maintenance
- To close the school building. To act as a key holder for the site, ensuring security at all times, including the operation of alarms.
- To provide access to the school site out of school hours.
- To act as a member of the site team and to provide support and cover for Site Manager when needs arise e.g. in the event of sickness, during busy periods, holiday cover.
- To undertake occasional porterage duties as required (including moving furniture, equipment etc.) ensuring that lettings and school activities can take place on time.
- Operate the school’s heating plant for optimal lettings environment.
- To ensure (in winter especially) that access roads, pavements, steps and playgrounds are safe to use at all times.

SKILLS REQUIRED
NVQ, GNVQ, or GCSE qualifications: Desirable
Basic Health and Safety qualifications: Desirable
Manual Handling Training: Desirable
Hold a First Aid qualification: Desirable
Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with diverse stakeholders: Essential
Experience in customer service, hospitality, or facility management: Essential
