The Medrescue Group is a Paramedic independent ambulance service working UK wide 24/7. We work in partnership with the NHS, CCGs, Local Authorities & Private Healthcare organisations delivering Emergency, non-emergency and mental health ambulance services.

We are seeking an experienced coordinator to join our Operations department working across a 24/7 rota. This is a pivotal role which ensures we provide a safe and efficient service for our patients and clients, to be successful in this role you must be able to mulit task and think independently to maximise our service capacity.

Main Duties:

- Crew scheduling, both preplanned rota's and covering short term changes due to over runs and sickness. Ensuring all core shifts are covered
- Taking calls from crews and customers in a polite and helpful manner. Logging all calls and subsequent actions
- Taking bookings for patient journeys, completing booking risk assessments and creating journey plans
- Allocating/dispatching crews, updating patients/wards on crew arrival times. Monitoring crew progress via vehicle tracking to report any delays
- Support recruitment, onboarding and inductions and schedule staff training to ensure all crews remain compliant
- organise stock and uniform orders to ensure we have adequate provisions at all times
- Support the Team Leaders and Operational Managers with vehicle Resource planning
- Reconcile crew timesheets in readiness for payroll
- Complete service audit records and log incidents or vehicle breakdowns using our reporting and alert systems
- Monitor our service performance and capacity to ensure we meet our contract requirements

**Salary**: £24,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Southampton: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Rota scheduling: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Full UK Manual Driving Licence (required)
