Marina Developments Ltd are seeking to recruit a full time Marina Operative at Northney Marina. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven individual to join the Marina Team at Northney Marina delivering excellent levels of customer service. The applicant must be dynamic, personable and maintain an eye for detail. Responsible for the day to day running of the marina, this position will offer the successful applicant a varied and challenging role.

**The Role will include**:

- Maintaining a visible presence with regular patrols of the site to ensure the safety and security of all vessels, pontoons, buildings and persons within the marina boundaries
- Provide a meet and greet service to all members and visitors, dealing with initial enquiries
- Managing berth allocations so as to maximise income and efficiency
- Carry out routine maintenance, ensuring the site remains safe, secure, clean, tidy and well landscaped at all times
- Record keeping and updating of our operating systems

This is working a 12-hour shift on a 4 on 4 off rotating pattern, including weekends and bank holidays. The successful applicant will be required to attend a 3-day First Aid at Work Course, health and safety training and familiarisation training in the first month.

The essential requirements for the role are:

- An ability to deliver the highest standards of customer service.
- Possess good communication skills
- Self motivated and able to work without supervision
- A practical, resourceful and common-sense approach
- Enthusiastic, friendly with a positive 'can do' attitude and flexible approach
- Computer literacy, including social media & administration skills
- Ability to carry out general maintenance tasks
- A practical knowledge of boats and boating
- Able to swim.
