Estimator - Steel Fabrication

Our client specialises in steel fabrication projects, and much more With growth and a full order book, comes the need for additional people and we are looking for an experienced **Estimator** to join the Christchurch based team.

**The Role**
You will be involved in cost estimating mild steel fabrications and projects work.

Specifically, you will:

- Provide cost estimations.
- Liaise with clients and customers.
- Provide and follow up on quotation letters.
- Coordinate with sales and workshop on project initiation through to completion.

To be successful in the role you will have:

- A trade or tertiary engineering qualification.
- At least 5 years’ experience costing on steel fabrication projects.
- Experience working in the workshop would be beneficial.
- Proficiency working with ERP software.
- Excellent verbal and written communications abilities.

You’ll need to have attention to detail and be proficient working with manufacturing drawings.
