Henderson Scott are partnering a leading Investment Bank in Glasgow to hire a number of UI Developers across their business.
This is a unique opportunity for experienced UI Software Developer who is looking to work for an internationally renowned organised, producing UI designs and develop them in fully functioning solutions used by millions of customers worldwide. They are lookingto hire mid-level to senior software engineers, used to working in large, corporate environments and ideally working with or an interest in modern technology stack.
- Proven experience of working as a UI Developer working in corporate environments
- Expert skills in Angular / React and other Front End technologies
- Strong knowledge of wire framing techniques, UI Design and High Quality practice
- Ability to work as part of multi-disciplined development teams with colleagues in different locations
- Experience of taking ownership of tasks & deliver work autonomously while also adding value by presenting and defending alternative solutions to improve products and solutions
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Knowledge and / or experience of one or more of the following would be a distinct advantage: Angular 2, React, Docker/Kubernetes, Web Packaging Stack, AG-Grid, Angular CLO, Karma / Jasmine, Java, Protractor, RoboHydra, Intelij or Visual Studio, Confluence,etc.
- Previous experience of working in Financial Services / Investments would be an advantage although not essential
