**Job Overview**
To provide the accounting function for Ventilation Hygiene Consulting Limited (VHC) ensuring all clients are dealt with in a professional way, problems resolved and support with other functions within our business. Success is demonstrated through client retention & proactive team working.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
Account input to enable full accounts to be submitted year end which will include
- Invoicing clients
- Obtaining client purchase orders
- Producing sales orders
- Bank reconciliations, bank transfers, Prepayments
- BACS payments
- Banking
- Credit control
- VAT Return
- Preparing SAGE to enable P&L report to produced monthly

**Other duties these are not limited to but are a requirement of our business**
- Supporting the operational team as required on work scheduling
- Calling clients as required
- Maintaining excel spreadsheets as required for our business

**Requirements**:

- Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures
- Hands-on experience with accounting software specifically SAGE
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)
- Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
- Good organisational and time-management abilities
- To be flexible

**General**
Managing and distributing information within our office, answer phones, maintain files, deal with any computer issues via our computer support company.
