We are looking for an all-star Telemarketer to join our growing team. This is a marketing led role where you will be responsible for engaging with and qualifying inbound leads through to effective handoff to the business development team.
This unique Telemarketer role offers a lot of exciting topics in a rapidly changing sector that enables the conversations with leads to be driven by high value competitive advantage.

**Telemarketer’s duties and responsibilities**:

- Engage with prospects (including C-suite/Directors) and effectively discuss the core topics
- Qualify inbound leads to guide them through the buyer journey
- Conduct discovery sessions with prospects to find out their pain points
- Deliver relevant marketing content to prospects via social channels
- Build trusting relationships with key stakeholders
- Follow up on existing customers to identify new potential needs
- Generate and manage sales pipeline by updating all activity in CRM
- Collaborate with sales executives to meet the company’s targets
- Improve processes and procedures
- Work with sales and marketing stakeholders to develop lead scoring models

**Success**:
To succeed in this Telemarketer position and hit targets, you need to be able to research prospects, analyse data, and keep up with everything that is happening in the industry. But as well as staying focused and organised, you need will exceptional knowledge on the core topics and offerings. You will effectively be selling knowledge rather than just products and services.

You will be positioning yourself as an advisor by asking insightful and sometimes uncomfortable questions to help a prospect or inbound lead think critically about what they need. This means that you will teach prospects strategies and tactics they can implement on their own to work toward their objectives. As a result, you will guide prospects on which services or products can specifically help them make more money, save money, or avoid risk.

**Skills**:
Research - Research different buyers, market trends, and the competitive landscape. Identify buying triggers with the intent data to personalise your approach and provide a relevant buyer experience.

Active listening - you will go beyond simply hearing the words that the buyer speaks but also seek to understand the meaning and intent behind them. Have human conversations with prospects and position yourself as a consultant. You don’t have to stick to a cold calling script.

Assertiveness - you will get to the point with buyers through direct open questioning.

Creativity - The more creative your outreach, the more traction you’ll receive. You need to be able to bring creativity and personality to whatever you do. You need to stand out from the barrage of other messages prospects are getting.

Curiosity - genuinely get to the bottom of prospects’ challenges to solve them.

**Traits**:
Willingness to learn - A person who demonstrates a willingness to learn is someone who can establish better relationships because of their ability to be curious, ask questions, and actively listen.

Self-motivated - sets goals that are personally important and don’t rely on someone or something else to inspire action and help them maintain momentum.

Adaptable - this is an “on your toes” type of job and can throw curveballs every step of the way. That means there is a need to be prepared, yet flexible, to handle whatever objection, question, or issue a prospect or client throws your way.

Organised - Staying organised means not only managing time effectively, but also communicating with those around you about what you’re working on. This also applies to communication with your prospects and clients.
