**UK Tax Manager - Chesterfield - £50,000 - £70,000**

**UK Tax Manager Responsibilities**:

- Producing the tax returns for head office
- Producing VAT returns along with PAYE and national insurance contributions
- Preparation and submission of all direct, indirect tax returns and payroll taxes
- Preparation and maintenance of all local transfer pricing documentation
- Maintaining all Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) documentation and responsible for the annual SAP return
- Assist the Global Tax Department in implementation of specific projects for UK, as well as ad-hoc cross-border projects
- Lead the consolidated UK tax reporting process along with identifying and implementing improvements
- Manage the UK tax compliance position, identify and assist in the implementation of risk minimisation strategies
- Working with VAT registrations in several European countries
- Efficient completion of UK tax input into the Group consolidated half year, full year, budget and reforecast processes
- Good and transparent working relationship with HMRC, with tax issues resolved efficiently

**Hours**:

- Full time with two days hybrid working

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- Previous Tax experience resulting from similar industry experience of experience of working within a practice
- Institute of Taxation examination success
- In-depth experience of UK tax system and IFRS is a distinct advantage for successful execution of the role
- Experience of working in a multi-national tax environment in dealing with internal and external consolidated tax reporting and forecasting
- Tax risk and compliance management
- Knowledge of UK tax compliance issues
- Experience of HMRC management
- Sound knowledge of both UK corporate and indirect tax laws and compliance practice
- Sound knowledge of IFRS/UK GAAP related to tax accounting and reporting
