Bennett and Game are currently working with one of the UK's leading road freight logistics companies who are actively seeking a proven Transport Supervisor to join their Hinckley location

The client pride themselves in being able to provide quality road freight services such as pallet network distribution to some of the largest and most established FMCG companies across the UK. Their main client base include some of the most successful supermarketbrands, and in doing so, working with these companies has enabled them to build and establish a strong reputation across a national scale.

**Transport Supervisor (Nights)Position Overview**
- Prepare Armstrong delivery drivers 'run sheets' informing them of their planned tasks for their next shift
- Communicate with Armstrong delivery drivers their expected daily duties as planned on arrival & in detail
- Ensure that all delivery drivers have the correct paperwork and all necessary booking (& ferry) information before the driver leaves site
- Ensure that all drivers are legal to carry out their shift before they leave site with their allotted vehicle and that they have all necessary equipment for them to carry out their tasks successfully
- Ensure that all drivers leave site in the correct (planned) vehicle & trailer and that they are road legal To ensure that the daily transport plan is carried out as stated by the transport planner
- Communicate any issues regarding driver lateness/sickness/non-arrival to the transport manager
- Revise the daily plan as issues arise and ensure they are resolved

**Transport Supervisor (Nights)Position Requirements**
- Previous transport/warehouse experience would be an advantage.
- Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced transport / warehouse environment would be an advantage
- Excellent communicator
- Above average I.T skills
- Ability to be comfortable at the 'HUB' of the operations office.
- Work to tight deadlines
- Attention to details

**Transport Supervisor (Nights)Position Remuneration**
- Salary - 27K - 30K
- Four on Four off shift pattern
- 12-hour shifts
- Company pension scheme
