Sports Coach

Empower Active are looking for an enthusiasic, fun active person to join their growing team as a PE Specialist.

Duties and responsibilities:

- To plan and deliver high quality and engaging PE lessons for primary school children.
- To be a positive role model to children and young people.
- To take positive steps to identify and overcome barriers to participation amongst children
- To ensure positive benhaviour management and a positive learning environment.
- To motivate children to participate in physical activity.
- To be a positive ambassador for Empower Active CIC

Empower Active work with schools in Worcestershire providing high quality PE, physical activity, exra-curriculr clubs, wrap around care and health & wellbeing programmes.

Essential Requirements:

- Experience of working with children and delivering activities.
- A flexible team player, able to adapt to dynamic situations and challenges on camp.
- Be enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about developing children through physical activity
- Able to change and tailor delivery of structure of a session according to age and ability.
- Holds a level 2 NGB or qualified in a relevant sport.

Desirable:

- Meets standard minimum operations qualifications (First Aid at work, Paediatric First aid 12 / 6 hour)
- Current DBS on the update service

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: £10.50-£13.00 per hour
