Due to recent growth and increased order book, we now have a vacancy for a Production Assistant. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join the team and work to a high standard of quality, accuracy and efficiency.

Reporting directly to the Factory Manager and Production Team Leader, the role will include the following:

- Production cleanliness & hygiene
- Basic maintenance on extraction units
- Preparation of production sub-assemblies
- Preparation of packaging materials for finished products
- Wrapping of pallets
- Picking & packing all small daily orders needed for despatch
- Stocking up shelves when consumable items arrive on site
- Assistance on basic production functions if required

We offer a number of benefits including company pension, day work Monday to Friday, free parking, training & development and occasional overtime if required. Hours at 8.30am - 4.30pm. Overtime is sometimes available on a voluntary basis.

The role pays £10.00 per hour raising to £10.50 per hour following a successful 3 month probationary period and is based on a 37.5 hour working week. As our company is expanding there is room for progression from Production Assistant to other roles.
