**Cogges Heritage Trust Trustee x 2**

Cogges Heritage Trust is charity which cares for and runs Cogges Manor Farm, a unique historic site in Witney, West Oxfordshire. The charity’s purpose is to preserve, protect, develop and improve the archaeological, historical, architectural and environmental heritage of the site of Cogges Manor Farm and associated land for the benefit of the people of the County of Oxfordshire and the wider members of the public.

Due to some Trustees retiring in the next 12 months we are seeking two additional recruits to ensure continuity. The Trustee Board provides collective governance leadership of the organisation in support of its charitable objects. Trustees play a key role in setting the strategic direction of the organisation and overall policy, defining goals, establishing targets and evaluating performance against agreed targets.

**- Health & Safety relating to a visitor attraction and heritage site**

**- Property/Conservation/Construction within a heritage setting**

These roles serve on a voluntary basis, and we will look for you to commit to four board and six sub-committee meetings per annum.
