**Bookkeeper**

**we are a Local property developer looking for a part time bookkeeper, experience in all aspects of book keeping including Xero and cis**

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for the daily accounting functions for West Loch. This includes preparing invoices, entering sales and expenses into accounting software, reconciling bank statements, and maintaining financial records. The Bookkeeper will also be responsible for reconciliation of general ledger accounts. The position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive, record, and process incoming payments and invoices
- Processes all outgoing payments and deposits including checks, ACHs, wire transfers, etc.
- Posts all incoming revenue as well as sales tax payments and other vendor refunds.
- Posts all expenses including salaries, overhead, etc.
- Reconcises general ledger accounts by following procedures and guidelines set forth by management.
- Performs month-end closing procedures as required.
- Performs account reconciliations as required.
- Assists with ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From £18.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Midlothian: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 5 years (preferred)
- bookkeeping: 5 years (preferred)
