- Requisition Number: 41565- Department: Electricity Transmission - Operations- Job Function: Electric Maintenance and ConstructionWe’ll provide you with all the top tech, tools, equipment and PPE to get the job done safely. We can provide you with Job Security, job satisfaction and challenge you with a diverse workload. You’ll be working in a team of 7 on a variety of jobs from line repairs, fault investigations and replacing damaged or worn-out assets, you could even be up in the helicopter, either way you’ll need to comfortable working at heights. You’ll be within 45 minutes travel of Staythorpe which is the base location for this role.

**What you’ll need**
You’ll have a minimum NVQ Level 3 modern apprenticeship or equivalent experience in an Electrical or Mechanical discipline - We’ll get you up to speed with expert training at our Centre of Excellence, this will be over 16 weeks with an exam to gain your NVQ Power Network Craftsperson qualification. Can use a computer. Comfortable working at heights. Full UK Driving License. Overhead Line experience is required. There’ll also be opportunities to work around the country if you want it, this will come with financial benefits such as generous overnight allowances, accommodation and mobility payments when requested to work away from your base location.

**Pay and Benefits**:

- Starting salary £33,516 pa - progressing on completion of training.
- + Seasonal working allowance £1,555 per annum.
- Paid overtime.
- We’ll provide you with a company 4x4 vehicle.
- 25 days annual leave (increasing to 26 after two years’ service) plus 8 statutory days
