**WHAT TO EXPECT**

You will develop and execute key performance indicators across the designated suppliers, engaging with stakeholders and specialists within the Purchasing Function as required, ensuring supplier performance to meet JLR QCDIS (Quality, Cost, Delivery, Innovation and Sustainability) requirements.

You will purchasing the different components of high voltage batteries instead of buying a finished product - for the EV Propulsion team to develop on.

This role is also a pivotal role for interface with other key functions within Jaguar Land Rover and acts as a core conduit for true cross functional working across Production Purchasing, Material Planning and Logistics (MP&L), Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), Product Engineering, Cost Engineering and Manufacturing - while Reporting to the Procurement Manager this role will see you have responsibility for managing the external supply chain from Jaguar Land Rover suppliers.

**WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR**

You will have lots of responsibilities within this role but the main few will be responsible for all post sourcing and contract management activities for designated commodities and suppliers and developing and executing sourcing strategies for they will handle commodities for high voltage batteries.

To be responsible for the execution of commodity and supplier strategy, and the effective operational relationships with each of the designated suppliers, ensuring that they adopt and follow the commodity strategy that delivers improved purchase operational performance.

To be responsible for or support analysis of regional RFQs (Request for Quotation). Deliver sourcing in line with policy and to agreed targets through GSP and deploying TCO/TVO (Total Cost of Ownership, Total Value Ownership) approach.

Manage all new Model Programme introduction of designated commodity/system. Lead timely and accurate completion of purchasing deliverables in line with JLR's Product Creation Delivery System (PCDS) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) deliverables for designated commodities, including contracted supplier obligations, production readiness and resolution of any commercial and/or programme issues/risks, being responsible for robust delivery to target cost for the FSR (Final Status Review) gateway.
