Core Manufacturing (CM) is part of the Rolls-Royce Submarines business. CM is responsible for the manufacture and delivery of nuclear core components.

**What you will be doing**:
You will get a chance to work to Rolls-Royce corporate procedures and local work/technical instructions to carry out inspection tasks on a variety of components.
- The assessment of components using a variety of NDT techniques, including Radiography, Ultrasonic, Eddy Current and Dye Penetrant Testing.
- The interpretation of manufacturing drawings, customer drawings and written specifications.
- The assessment of whether the quality of components produced meets the standards.
- Work closely with internal and external customers to continuously improve business performance.

To be successful in this role you will need to:

- Qualified in NDT disciplines with relevant experience, time served apprenticeship and/or training programme.
- PCN qualifications in at least one of Radiography, Ultrasonic, Eddy Current or Dye Penetrant Testing. (Equivalent qualifications in any of these disciplines may be considered)
- Experience of how to operate radiographic testing equipment safely.
- Clear and demonstrated understanding of the limits of each NDT technique, drawing interpretation and the importance of calibration in NDT.
- Experience of working with fabricated components, particularly performing NDT on wrought products or weldments.
